Adam Zagoria is a staff writer for the Herald News in West Paterson, N.J. He covers men's and women's high school, college and professional basketball, and has written about the WNBA since its inception in 1997. His articles have appeared in The Bergen Record, The Newark Star-Ledger, Sports Illustrated Women and Slam.

A graduate of Wesleyan University and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, he has earned numerous Associated Press Sports Editors (APSE) and New Jersey Press Association (NJPA) awards for excellence in sports journalism.

An avid tennis and Ultimate player, he lives in Manhattan with his wife Jennifer, their daughter Grace and their dog Jazz.
